Painting project (Block B)

THE PLAN

The plan was to make some circle panting to keep my paintings interesting, I did not want to create a normal A4 or A3 painting. This page I was deciding on colours. i did all go these in watercolour because i wanted it to be quite washy however watercolour is my strongpoint. 

FINALS

In my project i decided to do places that mean something to me. Firstly I did Blaenau Ffestiniog because its the place i live and love, the biggest attraction that has been going for years is the Ffestiniog Railway that starts in Blaenau and its destinations are Maentwrog and Porthmadog. i wanted these to be different therefore i decided to create them on a circular mount card.

i wanted to show Dolgellau in a different way than people see it today, just outside there is a ruins of Cymer Abbey i think this place was so beautiful and i had to create a piece to show this.

Tenby is a place i always went to for a caravan holiday when I was a kid it is such a pretty place and has very dear memories to me. The place I have painted is a place I loved to go I could stay there for hours on hours, I use to love body boarding there they where the best waves I had ever rode and if the tide was out you could go to this private beach that me and my sister found, I thought the place was magical

I really loved going to cyber abbey to see the ruins, i absolutely love the vibrant orange of the bushes compared to the brown ruins! we went on a lovely day and i really enjoyed myself so much i want to create a painting inspired by cyber abbey as you can see above
